Being very honest, targeting Google ads audience directly to Facebook ads is impossible. The one major factor that comes into play is that the two platforms have different tracking and targeting mechanisms.
But I am not saying it can’t be done.

Here’s how:
- Pixel Tracking: First you need to install Facebook Pixel onto your website. Now this tool will track your users’ interactions on your website, which in return will allow you to create a custom audience based on their behavior.
- URL Parameters: Second use of UTM parameters in your Google ads’ destination URLs. It will track specific campaigns, ad groups, or keyword performance. Now This data can be used to segment your audience on Facebook.
- Custom Audiences: Third, now, when you have some form of behavioral data, you can now create custom audiences based on your website, traffic. You can now create audiences of users who visited specific pages, took specific actions (like completing a form), or spent a certain amount of time on your site.
- Lookalike Audiences: Fourth, from your Google ads traffic when you have built a custom audience, you can now create a similar lookalike for your Facebook ads. The audience will now have similar kind of characteristics as well as behaviors to your existing Google ads audience.
- Data Integration: If you have customer data from both Google and Facebook ads campaigns, you can use third-party tools or platforms to integrate and match this data, allowing for more advanced targeting and audience segmentation strategies.
By leveraging these methods, you can indirectly target Google ad audiences in your Facebook ads, allowing for more precise targeting and potentially improving the effectiveness of your campaigns across both platforms.
